3. ReCITE Research Symposium
28th January 2027 | 9:30AM-4:00PM | Venue: The Florrie
“How do we sustain community-led creative health to promote health equity?”
Four years of community-led research across Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton come together for one day. The ReCITE Research Symposium shares what we have learned about what it actually takes to sustain creative community-led action to promote health equity: through capacity that lasts, strengthened relationships, and evidence that persuades.
Take a moment to join us and become part of a movement
This is not a day of talks and slide decks. Findings from five strands of ReCITE research — systems analysis on the types of change ReCITE has catalysed, the value of storytelling, the role of creative advocacy networks, new approaches for measuring population impact of community-led creative health, and the experience of community co-researchers — will be presented as a walkable exhibition, opened up through discussion, and tested against a panel of regional and national voices.
If you commission, fund, lead, deliver or evaluate community engagement and creative health approaches in the context of public health, we would like you in the room.
What you can expect to take away
- New evidence about sustaining community-led creative health – what works, what stalls, and where the leverage points sit.
- Practical arguments to make the case within your own organisations for adequate resources to deliver and evaluate community engagement and creative health approaches.
- Direct exchange with people who hold system levers: NHS and local authority leaders, creative and community organisations, researchers and funders.
- New relationships and proposals, an opportunity to become part of what happens next.
